These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BC Gift Store website and online store (the “Site”). By visiting the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Legal Age Requirement

BC Gift Store sells products that may be subject to age restrictions, including alcoholic beverages. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to purchase such products. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally permitted to purchase alcohol and that you are not purchasing on behalf of anyone below the legal drinking age. At the time of delivery or pickup, you or your designated recipient may be required to present valid government-issued photo identification to verify age. Orders will not be released to individuals who cannot provide acceptable proof of age.

Orders, Changes, and Cancellations

Once an order is submitted, it is considered final and may not be changed or canceled. If you believe an error has occurred or need immediate assistance, please contact us as soon as possible at service@bcgift.ca. While we may attempt to assist, we cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be accommodated once processing has begun. If a cancellation is approved at our discretion before processing is completed, a cancellation fee of up to 3% may apply to cover payment processing costs. Any applicable fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Pricing and Payments

All prices listed on the Site are subject to change without notice. Your selected payment method will be charged at the time the order is placed. If there is an issue with your order, such as inventory availability or required adjustments, we will contact you by email before proceeding. We accept major credit cards and may offer additional payment options from time to time. Availability of alternative payment methods may vary and is subject to approval.

Delivery and Compliance with Law

BC Gift Store sells and ships products only in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for ensuring that the receipt and possession of products ordered from our Site complies with all local, provincial, and federal laws at the delivery destination. Title to and ownership of products pass to the purchaser in accordance with applicable law. Any risk associated with delivery, possession, or use of the products after lawful transfer rests with the purchaser.

Product Availability and Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, we do not guarantee that all information on the Site is complete, current, or error-free. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel orders affected by inaccuracies.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BC Gift Store shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products, including delays, delivery issues, or misuse of products.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the applicable Canadian jurisdiction in which BC Gift Store operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
